The afternoon slump, the witching hour…call it what you will, but in my house, it is a real struggle! Keeping Kids Entertained in the Car on Road Trips

We do our fair share of road trips in this family. Not across the country, thankfully, but at least five or six times a year we trek across the desert from Southern California to Arizona, where most of our extended family live.  As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have very busy kids and even though the drive is only about 5 1/2 -6 hours, it can sometimes feel like torture.
